Air freight for shipments where timing matters
When a factory is waiting for a component or a customer needs stock urgently, the extra speed of air transport can be worth the cost. But the aircraft is only one part of the journey. Collection, packing, documents, airport acceptance and destination arrangements all need to line up.
Direct Airport Gateway Execution
Coordinating scheduled commercial airline space, priority ULD build-up, bonded airport terminal transfers, and fast customs handovers across India and worldwide hubs.
Import air freight
For incoming shipments, we discuss the origin airport, cargo details, expected arrival, and any customs or final-delivery requirements. The aim is to establish the full scope early, so important handovers are not left until the cargo lands.
Export air freight
Export movements start with cargo readiness. We help plan the airport routing, documentation, packing information, and dispatch timing needed for the proposed flight schedule. Airline and terminal cut-offs should be confirmed before final commitments are made.
Urgent and time-sensitive cargo
Some consignments are driven by production deadlines, repair work, or customer commitments. Share your required delivery date at the enquiry stage. We examine available flight routings and explain which parts of the timeline may depend on clearance or local handling.
Airport-to-airport or complete movement
An air freight quotation may cover only the airport leg, or additional services such as pickup, customs coordination, and delivery. We make these distinctions clear in the agreed scope so you can compare options properly.
What affects the air freight price?
Air freight charges are not based on scale weight alone. Dimensions affect volumetric or chargeable weight (1:6000 ratio standard), while route, commodity, service urgency, and surcharges also influence the rate. Accurate package measurements help make the first estimate reliable.
Documents worth preparing early
A commercial invoice and packing list are common starting points. The shipper and consignee details, airway bill instructions, and any certificates or permits may also be relevant. Requirements change by cargo and destination, so the document checklist should be confirmed for each shipment.
Before you ask for a quote
Send the collection city, destination, number of packages, gross weight, length/width/height, cargo description, and ready date. Mention fragile, restricted, valuable, or temperature-sensitive goods at the outset; those movements need a separate feasibility review.
